Shardeum

Background

The primary objective was to redesign and redevelop the user interface of the Shardeum Validator, significantly enhancing the overall user experience.

Shardeum was committed to democratising the process of running a Validator, aiming to streamline operations to such an extent that initiating a node becomes a simple task, achievable with just a few clicks.

This initiative was designed to lower barriers to entry, enabling a broader spectrum of individuals to participate in securing the Shardeum network.

Validator GUI

Shardeum required redesigning and rebuilding its Validator GUI to improve mobile user experience, user-friendliness, brand consistency, and data visualisation.

The web app was upgraded to ensure full responsiveness across devices while aligning the GUI to the refreshed Shardeum brand.

Onboarding and FTUX

The onboarding flow was reworked around clarity and confidence so node operators could understand setup, progress, and validator status without consulting separate documentation.

Dashboard operations

We improved dashboard workflows and real-time visibility into validator performance so the product could surface richer operational data directly from the CLI and backend services.

Summary

The result is a more approachable validator experience that supports broader participation, stronger brand consistency, and better day-to-day usability for node operators.
